1. What happens if it rains on the day of my clean?
We can work in light to moderate rain. The rain does not affect your clean, as rainwater is fairly pure. Otherwise, your windows would have water marks on, after every time it rains, which is not the case. We also have a Rain Guarantee.
2. Can you quote me a price over the phone?
We can give you a rough estimate of what the cost would be over the phone, but we would visit your home, so that you will get your own personal quote based on the exact specifications of your home. We will also check access, parking and check to see if you have any inaccessible windows.
3. How do I pay you?
We collect all payments with GOCARDLESS. This is the safest, most effective way to collect payments. It only takes 2 minutes to set up! You can visit our Payment Page to learn more about GOCARDLESS.
4. Do you clean internal windows?
No, sorry. We only clean external windows, doors, sills, and frames.
5. Do you clean commercial properties?
We specialise in domestic window cleaning only. There are other companies that do both commercial and domestic, some others specialise in commercial only window cleaning, but we prefer to just window clean domestic properties.
6. Do you clean garage doors?
We can clean garage doors. Our monthly customers get their garage door cleaned up to 3 times per year for FREE. We do offer a one-off service for cleaning garage doors at £5 per door.
7. Do you clean the windowsills and frames?
We clean the frames, sills, and all doors as standard on every visit. There is no option for glass only, as we use the water fed pole method. It would be hard to not get water on the upper frames, if there is dirt on that frame it will leak down onto the glass leaving spotting/water marks.
8. Can you give a time slot?
We cannot promise a time. You will get a text message the evening before to remind you that we are attending your property the next day (The text also includes a polite notice for dog owners to clean up any doggie mess before our visit, so we can avoid dragging our hose or equipment through it). We cannot promise a time just in case we meet traffic, have a down pour of rain, or a job takes longer than expected. We don’t like to make promises that we can’t keep.
9. Do you do builder cleans?
We class this work as commercial. Our pure water cleaning system uses a soft brush to remove everyday dirt and grime. It is not designed to remove mortar, paint, silicon etc. When these compounds are on the glass, there is also a risk that the glass can get scratched.
10. Do you have liability insurance?
We are covered by AXA insurance. Our public liability covers us for up to £2 million. Accidental damage is also covered, so you have complete peace of mind.
11. What to expect after the first clean?
The first clean normally takes longer. We will not leave until we have brought your windows, frames, sills, and doors up to the Pure Wash Standard. We also have our own Pure Wash Guarantee for your peace of mind. If you are not completely satisfied with your clean, contact us within 24 hours after your clean and we will reclean for FREE.
12. Do you clean Velux or sky light windows?
Yes, we clean Velux and skylights, providing our water fed pole can reach them. We can reach up to 3 storeys which is about 35ft approx.
13. Do you offer any other cleaning frequencies?
We offer a monthly or bi-monthly service only. We are unable to offer any other frequency due to the way our window cleaner round is structured. We also offer a one-off window cleaning service (limited to once every 12 months), which we normally carry out on a Saturday.
14. Do you clean conservatory roofs?
Yes. We do clean conservatory roofs. Conservatory roof cleaning is an add on service, because they only need cleaning once or twice a year.
15. I don’t want to pay with direct debit. Can I pay with BAC's or cash?
